11.7 Notes on Creating a Unicode Program

Users creating a program in which multiple threads run to update a program should note the following instructions:

• The character which database environment name can be appointed is ASCII code.
• Data is not indicated normaly if Alphanumeric variable is set UCS-2 data.

For information about Unicode, refer to the "Unicode" section of "COBOL97 User's Guide".
