| - | Preview does not work on COBOL structured files i.e. those files with sequential, relative or indexed organizations. |
| - | Preview can only interpret ASCII character values. If the output file is in a character code other than ASCII, you need to preview the values in hexadecimal. |
| - | Preview uses only Courier New font. |
| - | Non-character codes, other than new line character, are displayed as "." (period). |
| - | The Preview function displays up to 100 records, starting with the first record in the file. |
