NetCOBOL for Windows Applications Requiring the Multi-Threaded Run-time
Note that you will need the multi-threaded run-time if you are using any of the following:

• ISAPI
• COM
• ASP

Standard COBOL sorts are supported by both single and multi-threaded run-times.

NetCOBOL for HP-UX
NetCOBOL for Linux

The non-academic versions of each of these products, allow you to distribute freely applications created with NetCOBOL on the respective platform.

PowerBSORT
PowerBSORT is separate to the above products and can only be distributed with the purchase of PowerBSORT licenses. PowerBSORT provides enhanced sorting performance (typically about a 30% improvement) and other features such as a batch interface.
